SECTION TWO: The Rules

The rules are simple:

No Pornographic, Racist, Slanderous Sites/Journals allowed to join my rings.

Link the code where it can be easily accessed; such as a Rings Page. Do not get the ring lost within your diary pages.

If I dont see the code within 24 hours of joining the ring, I will delete you.

No locked journals, whats the point of joining a ring if we cant visit your journal.

Choose age appropriate rings, if youre 13 then you have no business in any adult content rings and if I catch you joining a ring that is not age appropriate I will delete you.

18 and over may join the rings that are marked as adult content.

If you have any questions please email me at the bottom.

SECTION THREE: FAQ

  1. Where can I find the code for the ring I just joined?

A:When you join a ring, it will take you to a page that confirms youve joined. If you look carefully it will ask you to click another link to get the Code for that particular ring.

Another way to get the code for that ring at anytime is by going to the main page of the ring you just joined. Scroll all the way to the bottom, click where it reads Click Here and presto, youll get the code.

  2. How do I add the link to my journal?

A: You have two options, if you want to add a particular ring or all of your rings onto your main page, simply go to your Change your template area and add the code to your new &/or older template. This way that ring you just joined will appear in every single entry you write.

OR you can create a page specifically for your rings, which is what most people do. Simply Add an entry just like you normally would when writing in your journal and put all the codes there. Afterwards link the URL to anything on your main journal page and this will help people find the rings you belong to easily. If you dont know how to link a url file then you need to go learn a little html, Diaryland shows gives you a couple of hints.

Whatever way you decided to do this, you MUST add the link to your journal or almost any ring owner, (including myself) will delete you from the ring you just joined. You usually have 24 hours to put the code up.

  3. What does it mean by No locked Journals?

A: It means your journal cannot have a password that blocks the general public from viewing your journal. Whats the point in joining a ring if we cant visit your journal at all, dont you agree?! Those are the rules!

  4. What does it mean by Make Sure You Link?

A:This means to make sure you add the code that looks something like this: %%diaryland_whatever Info Here%% into your journal within 24 hours of joining a ring.

  5. What do you mean by Do not get the ring lost within your diary pages?

A:This means you must place the code to the ring you just joined within somewhere that is easy to find. So if the ring leader goes to your journal, she/he can find the code to their ring easy on your page. Read question number two for more information.
